CECT P168 Mobile Phone User’s Manuals and Set Up Instructions For Specific Networks and Carriers

Rae Edwards asked:

I’ve had the CECT P168 (aka iClone) since it first came out. I often evaluate and write about Chinese import mobile phones and this one is still among my favorites. Many consumers seem to agree with me too because this phone is now so popular that it’s become almost main stream.

But, not matter how commonplace the P168 phone becomes, I find that I am almost always questioned by people who see me using it. They want to know how hard it is to set it up, how user friendly it is, or if the instructions are in Chinese. The answer is it’s not very hard for most people right out of the box, but if you need help, it’s widely available. Instructions are also available in almost every language.

There are a couple of companies who have either written e-books or compiled software indicating how to use, set up, and sync the CECT P168 for your specific carrier. For example, there are now guides specifically for: AT&T, T-Mobile, Cingular, Roger’s Wireless, Vodafone, CTI, Orange, O2, and Moviestar, to name only a few. I find that typically, if someone is going to have a problem, it’s usually with the MMS. These guides will help you set this up in minutes. (The 168 is tri band and works with most carriers with no installation software needed. However, make sure your GSM carrier users either the 900, 1800, or 1900 Mhz band.)

Additionally, the guides come in just about any language you can imagine, including English, French, Italian, Spanish and German, for starters. These guides which are usually either in PDF (e book), CD rom, or in printed format, and usually only run between $5-$10.

The replica mobile is now so widely available that companies are beginning to generate accessories for it. You can easily get replacement batteries, sim cards, memory cards, cases / skins, Bluetooth headsets, and chargers for this phone, usually for well under $10.

So, there is no need to think that you can’t figure out or buy accessories for the iClone. As I’m sure you know, when a product is popular, a whole industry is going to spring up around it, which is exactly what has happened. From my own experience, this is a very easy phone to own and use.

Cab And Chassis Trucks - The Skeletal System

Marilee McCormack asked:

Cab and chassis trucks are a popularly chosen group. For those who are just beginning in the trucking industry, understanding the different types and models of trucks and trailers is highly important. You can find much information via the internet about the different types of trucks that you may need for your new business venture.

Generally speaking, a cab and chassis truck simply refers to a skeleton-like truck. The cab is intact but the chassis is simply a rail that allows you to have any type of equipment installed. The more popular types of these trucks are used for the assembling of box trucks or emergency vehicles such as ambulances. The chassis is fitted with the necessary aftermarket equipment which allows it to be used for whatever purpose is needed. There are many aftermarket equipment suppliers available for you to order your package to complete your commercialized truck in the style or design that you want. Whether you want a box truck design or something completely innovative, these suppliers can help you to determine exactly what you need for your business.

Many of these types of trucks are purchased used, which saves money and allows for the new owner to turn the truck into whatever type of vehicle that they need. Ambulance services, although they typically purchase their vehicles new, have been known to find and buy used versions of these types of trucks saving the organization thousands of dollars when they need to add additional ambulance carriers to their fleet.

If you are in the market for cab and chassis trucks, you can begin your search online. There are many places in which you can find these trucks. Typically, when you purchase a truck from an online site you are given many photos in order to gauge the style, design and overall condition of the used vehicle. These photographs will help you to determine whether or not the truck is the right size and in the condition that you desire. There are literally thousands of them available at prices that may astound you. If you have priced new trucks then you already know how expensive they can be. Purchasing used versions gives you the savings that you may need to begin a new business on the right foot, while still giving you the truck that you need for your new business purposes.

Mobile Home Roofing - Now Your Roof Can Literally Move

Ernest Jarquio asked:

Mobile home roofing is home construction convenience wherein the roofs are pre-cast before installation. This makes it easy to set on the house, saving the homebuilders time in connecting one roofing material to the other. Using a circular-knit rubber membrane that fits your roof, the mobile home roofing method is one easy system that gives home owners a shorter time to anticipate a finished job.

Components of Mobile Home Roofing

Mobile Home Roofing emerged in the US during the 1960’s and has been used for over forty years in the West. The key element in Mobile Roofing is EPDM, or “ethylene propylene diene monomer”, rubber which is 45 mil compacted and preformed and cut to fit the roof in a single job.

The material of mobile roofing is resistant to impact, puncture and tear. It is made to stand very hot and cold temperatures, as it builds motion and thermal shock. It also lessens noises in roofs caused by the wind, which gives a relaxing ambiance for families to comfortably rest. White Elastomeric Roof, Peal and Seal, Kool Seal Aluminum Roof, Brewer Cote Plastic Roof, Stone Patch Flexx Sealer are just among the many samples of mobile roofing styles.

After problems with leaks in mobile home roofing materials in 1978, a new type of system was invented by Bob May, which includes insulating the material then rolling out the sheet with the roof membrane. This allowed the roof to be automatically attached into the deck which guarantees the membrane to be fixed around the edges. Such a membrane radiates 78 percent of the heat of the sun, which helps warm up cold areas.

Cost Worthy

Not only is mobile home roofing worthy of a purchase, it is also cost-effective since it usually comes in a complete package. These mobile roofs can also last for twenty years or more with no special instruments used during installation. The set up of mobile home roofing can done by the local handyman or by the home owners themselves.

Also, with the help of roofing calculators, ordering for a desired roof size is made easy and less time-consuming. More conveniently mobile home roofing can be bought online.

Some websites even accept orders with customized appearances, making the roofs more attuned to the owner’s taste. And if there is a problem on the roof ordered, calling for help is easier because mobile home roofing materials also come with warranties. With this system, everyone can definitely have their own houses without having to wait too long and, yet, be assured that they have sturdy roofs over their heads for a lifetime.

Trucks For Sale - A Booming Industry

Marilee McCormack asked:

The trucking industry in the United States is booming more than ever. Even with the current rise in gas and oil prices, trucks must still run bringing products to stores and consumers. Without the trucking industry we would simply be reverted to the days of horse and buggies, growing our own food and living without many of the necessities that we have today. With that being said, it is important to realize that in order for truckers or trucking companies to haul the things that we need, they must first know where to locate trucks for sale.

You can find many trucks, from light to heavy duty haulers, virtually anywhere that you look. One of the best places to begin your search is on the internet. There are a wide variety of places where you can find information about specific truck models, such as a manufacturer’s website or a site that offers listings of used and new trucks for sale. Knowing where to begin your search is half the battle.

Once you have located a site that offers new and used trucks for sale, you simply need to keep in mind what budget you have for purchasing your truck and any other specifics that you have in mind, such as brand or luxury level. There are many semi trucks today that offer comfort capabilities that are very similar to what you experience at home. From extra large sleeping areas to room for a refrigerator, microwave, television and even a computer, you can put virtually anything in your truck and haul it with you on the road. Once you have determined how much you can afford to pay and any luxuries that you want, you will be ready to really start searching for your perfect truck.

Whether you purchase new or used, finding trucks for sale is not a difficult task. As long as you understand what you are looking for, finding it is fairly easy. If you prefer to shop locally, you can search through local or regional newspapers for what you are looking for. Of course, the internet gives you a much broader search. You can look in every state to see what other truckers may have for sale. And just think, if you locate a truck in another state, then you can travel there to pick it up. Once you buy it you can gain some added experience with your new truck by driving it home.

Dump Trucks - To Get Things Moving!

Marilee McCormack asked:

Dump trucks are used for a variety of materials. They are primarily used for transporting loose materials like sand or dirt. Construction companies use them widely for hauling gravel and other substances needed on jobs. Typically these trucks are equipped with hydraulics that operates the rising and lowering of the bed. This allows for the substances being hauled to also be deposited on the ground behind the truck once the bed is lifted.

Dump trucks began their ascent into the world in 1920 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Robert T. Mawhinney in this year attached a dump box to a flat bed truck and crafted a lifting device from a winch which attached to a cable. The operator of the truck merely had to turn a crank to lower and raise the dump box. Today’s dump trucks have come along way since those days and are widely used all around the world for various tasks.

A standard dump truck features a dump body that is mounted to the frame. It is a full truck chassis that has a hydraulic ram mounted toward the front between the cab and the body. The tailgate for standard dump trucks can either be configured to swing on hinges or with pneumatic rams that lift the gate open and raise it above the dump body. A standard model also has a short wheel base which makes it much more maneuverable than a higher capacity semi-trailer dump truck.

There are many manufacturers that produce dump trucks. Some of the more popular manufacturers include Hino Motors, Nissan, Mitsubishi Fuso and Volvo. These manufacturers produce standard model trucks that are highly popular. If you are in need of a dump truck you can purchase these new or used. The one main benefit of purchasing used models is cost. When you choose to buy a pre-owned truck you have the opportunity of saving potentially thousands of dollars over purchasing a new one. Many used models have prices as low as $10,000 or less while new models can reach more than $100,000. Purchasing used equipment such as these trucks offers you the ability to save money while still giving you the hauling power that you need. If you are planning to purchase a used truck, be sure that you obtain all the information about that particular truck that you can. If you are searching online it is also a good idea to request photos and seek contact details from the seller in case you have additional questions about the truck that you are considering.

Nokia N99i TV Phone - A Dual Sim, Texting IPhone Clone With Analog TV and a 3.0 Mega Pixel Camera

Rae Edwards asked:

There’s very little debate that the iPhone clones are popular because they offer all of the features made popular by Apple at a fraction of the price. These little knock offs are always unlocked, allowing you to use which ever network or carrier you chose without being chained to AT&T. They are usually dual sim, which is really like having two phones for the price of one. And, you can remove the battery yourself with out having to run to the dealer every time the battery dies. In today’s scary economy, every little bit helps, so these things are very attractive to consumers.

But, if there was ever any draw back to the clones, it was that most models mandated you text on a finger touch screen. This works great for some people, but many are used to and prefer texting on raised keys. Luckily, there are a few models that allow this, offering clone features combined with a full keyboard and scroll bar.

Of these texting clones, the N99i (or Nokia N99i as it is sometimes called) is probably the most popular. It’s attractive, fast, user friendly, and sleek. Messaging on it is a nice, quick experience. Better yet, the manufacturers have added an analog TV and an awesome 3.0 MP camera to this phone.

There is one very popular clone with the “TV out” feature (the CECT A988). This means that you can hook the phone up to your television and watch video on the phone on a larger screen. The analog television on the N model is different because you are watching real time local television via antenna. The 988 is also not as finger friendly for messaging.

In addition to this, the Nokia N99i is a very feature rich mobile phone, which includes: a 3 inch, finger touch LCD screen and stylus; full MP3/MP4 capabilities; a very high quality 3.0 mega pixel digital camera and webcam; double Bluetooth; a voice recorder; fm radio; two sim slots; and expandable memory. You can transfer information between your computer and the phone through a USB cable. The phone does not require software and will read your GSM sim card. This one is a tri band.

This one is a very high performing model that you can usually get for under $150 if you know where to look. Considering the very high quality camera (most of the replicas have 1.3 or 2.0 mp cameras) and the analog television feature, this is very reasonable, even for a clone.

T-Mobile G1 Cellphone Review

Christian Emil Johansen asked:

HTC in cooperation with Google has created a new cell phone with an Android operating system. The mobile phone is called “T-Mobile G1″ and is characterized by a special design, with a large screen that can be pushed to the side to reveal a full 5 row qwerty keyboard.

The mobile phone is said to become a major competitor to Apple’s IPhone. The mobile phone is build around an open source operating system, just like the IPhone, so both developers and the phone manufacturers can bring the users content and applications support. In practice this means that everyone can build applications for this mobile phone for anyone to buy or just download for free over the Internet. Using the built-in keyboard, it has become easy to navigate around on the phone, on the net and doing tasks like writing e-mails or other documents.

The G1 comes with:

528MHz processor WLAN function 3.2 inch touchscreen Full 5 row QWERTY keyboard 3.2 megapixel color camera with auto focus Full HTML browser Google Talk which is an chat program GPS navigation capability with Google Maps Street View which means that you can watch maps in real pictures from where you are and in street view Gmail YouTube

And many other Google features.

The mobile phone weights 158 grams, which also include the battery. The G1 also has a built-in microphone and speaker and supports many audio and video formats like Mp3, AAC, ACC+ and Mp4

The G1 has a search box on the desktop which is meant to search both the phone and the Internet. To reach the search box you just have to slide to the right with your fingertip and the desktop slides to a screen with a search box only. The search box also has some cool features. For instance it tries to guess what you want to search for by listing the most common searches on the Internet, while you are typing.

One of the features that makes the G1 stand out from the iPhone is the background picture.

On an iPhone, you can not put background pictures on your desktop, while on a G1 phone you just gets a panoramic picture when “sliding” around on the desktop.

The G1 looks pretty much the same as the previous T-Mobile Sidekick series.

I don’t like the design very much. I did expect a little more with Google and HTC working together, but I do also think that the software works really good and has some very nice functions. The G1 is very simple to use and you can take some shortcuts and directly add them to your desktop.

The absolute greatest advantage is the ability to accept open source programs, and I predicts this concept will be the future.

Concession Trailers and Mobile Food Trucks - Getting Started With a Mobile Food Truck Business

M Vroom asked:

Mobile catering refers to selling food out of some type of mobile vehicle, either a truck or van in most occasions. It is similar to regular catering since the food is brought directly to the customers, but is served directly out the vehicle rather than inside a building. Mobile catering is popular in many urban locations where it is convenient to grab food on the run, and it is a great business opportunity for those looking to get into the food business.

A mobile food truck is a great investment for anyone interested in getting into the food business, since it doesn’t require one to buy or lease an entire restaurant. Instead, individuals can sell their homemade goods right out of a moving vehicle, and can travel to popular locations where they know they can make a profit.

An ice cream van is similar to a mobile food truck, since they were invented in order to distribute ice cream to people walking on the street. A mobile food truck or van is designed similar to an ice cream van, since it has a large window that makes it easy to converse with customers. The inside of the van is completely different though, since ice cream vans are full of freezers in order to keep the ice cream cold.

A mobile food truck is almost like a small and portable kitchen, since it contains many of the same components as a regular kitchen. It can contain places to heat up food, a fridge and freezer for storage, a sink for washing up, and even a drink fountain for dispensing colas. They also contain locations for storage and even shelves for displaying products, and a counter top for a cash register and storage for dishes and cups. They come in a number of different variations, and the purchaser can decide which components they need based on the menu they plan on selling.

Mobile kitchens can either be purchased as a mobile food truck or van, or as a trailer that can hook directly onto the back of a vehicle. Either way, it makes it possible to move the food business to different locations, in order to find popular locations where people are likely to be hungry. Although a mobile food truck owner may have to travel to several locations when they first start off, they usually find the most popular locations and travel to them at the same time every day.

A mobile food truck or kitchen is a great purchase for anyone getting into the food business, especially since not many have time to sit in a restaurant for a meal anymore. It is a convenient way to sell food and appeal to a wide variety of customers, and it doesn’t require a huge initial investment like a restaurant would. They usually only require one or two people to operate, and can pay for themselves in no time. A mobile food truck and kitchen is a great investment for anyone interested in the food business, and can even transform into a family partnership if it gains enough popularity.

Wireless Broadband Versus Mobile Broadband

Caroline Telford asked:

If you are among the millions of professionals around the work at home, either on a full-time or part-time basis - then it is a must for you to have a high-speed connection at home.

Fortunately, there are a lot of Internet connectivity options that you can take advantage of today. Previously, using dial-up modem to connect to the Internet did not have a lot to offer in terms of speed. Also, if you are already using the phone line to connect to the Internet, you will not be able to use your landline phone unless you have a dedicated line.

Now, as the demand for high-speed Internet connection has increased, more and more types of broadband Internet connection are being introduced to subscribers.

A Brief Definition of Broadband and Its Advantages

Before making the distinction between the different types of broadband, let us first take a look at what broadband is all about.

In layman’s term, broadband refers to any type of high-speed Internet connection which should be about 10 times faster than the traditional dial-up modem speed. One of the primary advantages of having broadband connection is that you are connected on a 24/7 basis - unlike with dial-up Internet connections.

Another benefit of choosing broadband over dial-up Internet access is that the former allows you to have an optimal browsing experience. From the loading of the pages, to sending instant messages to sharing, downloading or uploading of files - they will all be performed in a more efficient and speedy manner.

Now that you have an idea about broadband Internet connection, here is a quick list of the types of broadband connections that you can have:
- Cable
- Wireless
- Satellite
- Mobile
- ADSL or Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line
- SDSL or Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line
- LLU or Local Loop Unbundling

Here, we will focus on two of the most common types of broadband Internet connection: wireless and broadband.

All about Wireless Broadband

This type of broadband Internet connection is used in rural areas in the UK where other forms of broadband connection are not available.

If you have a wireless broadband connection , a small antenna will be installed outside of your home. The Internet connection works in a way which is similar to how your television set receives signals from the TV station.

No telephone lines are required - and the broadband antenna is connected to your computer.

How about Mobile Broadband?

On the other hand, mobile broadband can be simply defined as Internet access on the go. Much like checking your e-mail using your mobile phone, mobile broadband allows you to connect to the Internet using your laptop computer.

As long as you have a laptop computer and a network-activated broadband dongle - you can get connected even while you are on the go.

Wireless Broadband and Mobile Broadband: Is One Better than the Other?

When you compare wireless with mobile broadband - you can never really say that one is better than the other in a general viewpoint.

Instead, what you need to do is look at your Internet connection needs. If you are the type who is always on the go and you cannot get through the day without checking on your e-mail messages, then a mobile broadband may be the best option for you.

On the other hand, if any other forms of broadband connection is simply not available in your area but you do need to have Internet access at home, then wireless broadband connection is the solution that you are looking for.

New Touch Screen Mobile Phones For 2008

John Gray asked:

Sony Ericsson has announced two new handsets, the G700 and G900 to be released in 2008. The G700 and G900 names sound like part of the Samsung mobile phone collection, with Samsung having previously released the G600 and G800.

The two 3G handsets look like pretty standard handsets. They both feature a camera (G700 - 3.2 mega pixel, G900 - 5 mega pixel), FM radio, multimedia player, stereo Bluetooth, memory stick micro, 4 hours talk time and 13 days standby in 3G mode, and the G900 boasts WiFi. Both phones weigh in at 99 grams and measure 106 x 49 x 13mm.

The most interesting aspect of the two phones is that they are both touch screen, Symbian smart phones. The touch screen measures 2.4″ and allows the user to scribble notes, surf the web, and select menu items. The handset also comes with handwriting recognition which is handy when writing an sms. Users also have the freedom to add their own applications to their mobile phones.

My personal opinion is why have a touch screen? It creates a slight wow factor about the new phones but it doesn’t really save you any time when using the phone, or make the phone functions work any more efficiently than a standard mobile phone. And of course you need to make sure you don’t lose your stylus! Many people will love the touch screen but I feel it’s a bit of a waste of time.

Whatever your thoughts are about the touch screens the G700 and G900 are two stylish mobile phones. The G700 will be available in silk bronze color scheme and the G900 will be available in dark red and dark brown color schemes.
